I have experience of challenges around: accessing toilets, moving around and seeing.

This was a positive visit to a clinic at my local medical Centre
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
On this occasion, I had to go up to the first floor so I was able to use the lift. Sometimes the left can be out of order so if you have an appointment upstairs, it might be worth phoning and asking first of all. If the lift is working.. if the person you’re going to see knows that you need to use the l and it is out of order, they should be able to move the clinic downstairs. The Centre also contains the police station and the council offices which are all at the main desk.
Accessible facilities: Lift to some areas, Seating at regular intervals, Step-free entrance

I travelled to my appointment by car with the help of my support worker

Accessible Toilets

Some of the toilets in the medical centre are quite small and they don’t all have handrails If you need the toilet whilst at the medical Centre, I would recommend using the one on the left-hand side as you go in to see the Doctors or use the Accessible toilet upstairs. These are really the only ones that are truly acceptable

Average
Sometimes when you phone up some of the staff can be quite rude and offhand, but I think this is a trademark of all Dr surgeries for the most part when you go to see them, the medical staff are usually helpful.
