We went up for a coffee and bite to eat mid-week. As the kids were off it was busy. Disabled parking spaces weren't well signposted (hand written on slate boards) and I had to park in the middle of the overflow car park and let my friend out and set up his wheelchair before parking as there was no space. He then had to wheel over gravel and concrete lumps which didn't look easy. There is a lip at the door to the cafe which would have been difficult to get over. Staff offered help but we decided to sit at a table outside. We didn't try to access toilets or look around and just went home after eating.

To the cafe there is wooden decking which was easy to manage with bot walking stick and wheelchair. Accessing the picnic or children's play area would have been difficult.

Free parking on a gravel lot. If it's busy there is overflow parking in a field

Staff

Excellent

Staff are very attentive and accommodating. They offered any help they could however my friend didn't want to attempt the lip of the doorway in his chair.
