Overview

We stayed in a yurt in the middle of an idyllic countryside setting with a young person in a wheelchair, the yurt has been made wheelchair accessible as have the rest of the glamping facilities. It allowed him to try something completely different and have a camping experience which would usually not be possible due to his needs.

Transport & Parking

You would need to drive as quite a remote area, no direct public transport.

Access

The camp has pathways to access the yurts, there is one yurt that has been made specifically wheelchair friendly, it has been levelled and has a ramp for the door way. It is a traditional mongolian yurt, the adaptations have been made around its traditional design. There is also a ramp into the barn with has kitchen, bathrooms and seating area.

Toilets

We did not need this facility as we used mobile hoist to change in the yurt. The bathroom/ wetroom can be used with a shower chair.

Staff

The owner was very helpful and accommodating of our needs.
