    Good

We were touring the Netherlands in our motorhome and wanted a base for a few nights, from which we could explore Amsterdam. This was the nearest campsite to the city and seemed good. The site was lovely and I had no problems getting around it. Considering it's on the outskirts of the capital city, it felt very peaceful and had nice views. My only criticism is that it is a good 20 minutes walk to the nearest tram stop and for much of that walk, there is no footpath.

Getting around the campsite was very easy. There are large stone steps upto the reception, shop and restaurant area but if you take the side turning near them, there is a step-free route which is good.

I travelled to this place by personal vehicle

Camping Zeeburg is very easy to get to from the A10 motorway (J14). The road in initially looks a right dump, with bins and rubbish. However, you follow the road round and it soon becomes quite pleasant. The campsite is well signposted and easy to get into. The security gate opens automatically based on your vehicle registration and there is no check-in as they send you your pitch number a day or two before you arrive. There are signposts around the site to help you find your pitch. Using this site as a base to explore the city, you have to get public transport (trams are excellent) which means walking all the way back to the main road where you came in. For us, that was a 20 minute walk each way. Much of that is on the road, though there is a footpath for part of it. In theory, there is a much nearer tram stop but that means going up onto a bridge, and there is no ramp... just steps. We found this frustrating as the steps weren't even steep. They could have easily made it accessible, but that isn't the campsite's fault.

    Good

The facilities blocks (there are 2) have two floors with ramps to both. I didn't use the toilets or showers but there are accessible ones. My husband used the regular showers and toilets and reported that there were clean and in good condition.

We didn't speak to many staff but those we saw were friendly and helpful.
