Overview
Canterbury cathedral is a stunning building - lots to see and learn about its history.
Transport & Parking
Parking can be pre-booked on site if you call in advance - it wasn’t straight forward but one done made a huge difference as the area around the cathedral is cobbled and not easily accessible.
Access
As expected not easy, a lot of walking and steps but also plenty of places to sit when needed. We could not access some of the darker areas of the cathedral such as the crypt as my husband needs plenty of light to ensure he doesn’t lose his balance - but we didn’t feel as though we were missing out.
