Excellent
Just opened - in time for the Open Golf Championships in July. Very accessible, friendly helpful staff and the best scones ever ! Pastry chef Robert rustled them up for us in half an hour when they didn't have enough to go around - impressive service ! Great views of the course from the restaurant which has a small menu as yet and a bit pricey maybe but we were made to feel special and enjoyed the experience.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
Entrance flat and level ,spacious lower floor, with lift to the restaurant level. Slim topped tables so wheelchair fitted under and lots of space to maneouver .
Parking & Transport
Excellent
We were allowed to drive up to the door and park alongside the rear of the building. Just opened so maybe designated parking is planned
Accessible Toilets
Good
there were 2 disabled toilets on the upper level. reasonable size but the placement of toilet roll holder and hand dryer was better in the ladies one.
Staff
Excellent
Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Robert pastry chef came and personally explained that because he was short of scones to fulfill our order if we were prepared to wait half an hour he would make a fresh batch. They were sensational !! Our Australian guests loved the coffee too.
