Located in the car park of Carnoustie Leisure Centre, these facilities offer Type 2 22 kW charging for two vehicles. The bays are painted green which makes them easy to spot and they are positioned at the rear of the car park next to the entrance of Chillies. The leisure centre has a well stocked café and an outdoor eating area with benches. For those with younger children there is a playpark and a nearby beachside path that may help pass the time while you charge up.

    Disabled Access In and Around

The tarmac is well maintained, especially for a car park, although much of the marking outside the bays is worn away. The paths on approach to the car park are also in good condition.

Accessible facilities: Single-level venue, Step-free entrance

The carpark has 75 spaces, 7 accessible parking spaces and two EV charging bays. The EV spaces are a good size, although the bay on the right has more space to the right side, thanks to some hatched markings. The left space borders a standard parking space, which is helpful to note if you need access on that side as someone parking in the bay might make tthings difficult. There are no hatched markings between bays. The charing terminal has sockets on either side but cables are not provided. The machine is set back from the carpark and behind two bollards, which will make if difficult ffor some to plug their charging cables in, and requires a bit of stretching if you're using a wheelchair or walking aid. The card reader is on the front of the terminal, and would be accessible from a seated height if not for the bollards.

Accessible facilities: Electric Vehicle Charging, Dedicated on-site parking, Drop-off or pick up point

    Accessible Toilets

There are accessible toilets in the sports centre which are open to the public during opening hours.
