Overall Rating
Excellent
I am wholly reliant on a wheelchair now and this amazing little place is completely geared up for it. All the staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. They have a lovely little accessible room, which although is a tiny bit small, has a really good accessible bathroom. They took one piece of furniture out for us and it made it much easier. The food was lovely. A lady at the village shop also said the food was very good. There were people there who had just come in to eat. Always good when the locals also like it. Got a stone ramp into the building, not a metal removable one. Beautifully and tastefully decorated. The lounge where we sat with our wine in the eveniiings was really cosy and warm- helped by the wood burning stove. It is usually a cliche saying 'cosy', but this was like being in a friend's lounge, it was so homely. They have reallty made the best of this building and my husband and I would highly recommend it if you want a really good venue to stay at. We are going back in the early part of next year, a long way from our home in the very south of England. We originally booked it, purely as it had an accessible room and we were going to LEnclume (also fabulous), but are going back because it was so good on it's own. Thankyou to Lauren, Greg and your Lovely team
