Overall Rating

This is a nice few hours out. Accessible throughout and good science displays. Good café space. Lunch room on the first floor if you take your own picnic or picnic benches outside. There are flat areas outside the building too for walk though the park and over to Spike Island.

Disabled Access In and Around

The centre is accessible to wheelchair users. Good signage and automatic doors upon entering the building. Lifts to all upstairs areas available including the observatory.

Parking & Transport

There are disabled bays but limited to 3-4 spaces.

Accessible Toilets

We did not visit the toilet so can’t provide comments but I noticed that there is a changing places toilet on the ground floor.

Staff

Very helpful and friendly staff.
