    Charlbury Community Centre

    About

Charlbury Community Centre consists of a large sports hall, the town’s public library, a community room (called the Thomas Gifford Room in honour of the man who first set up the charity which owns and runs the centre) and a community café. There is free WiFi throughout the building, PCs and a photocopier can be used in the library during its opening hours. Lockers are available to store your valuables and the building caters for disabled persons including wheelchair accessible shower and toilet facilities. Group shower and changing facilities are available in the adjoining pavilion. They need to be booked in advance and incur a small extra charge to cover water heating and cleaning. The Community Centre adjoins Nine Acres playing field, which has outdoor sporting facilities such as football and rugby pitches, outdoor tennis courts (which can be booked through our website) and a children’s play area. Please use the quick links to find out more about each room or area and the activities available there.
