Amazing castle but challenging access

Overview
Brilliant Norman Keep but unless you can climb loads of steps (and I mean loads) this is not worth a visit really. Viisitor Centre fairly limited and no cafe plus parking is private and charged unlike most English Heritage sites.
Transport & Parking
Private, charged car park is unexpected and unwelcome. Buses from Doncaster and Rotherham stop in the village.
Access
Practically non existent unless you can climb lots of steps.
