With electric vehicles on the rise, charging facilities are becoming more essential in rural areas and at caravan parks, particularly if you're exploring the area by car. That facility does the job, though not especially well.

If you are driving a car that is not a WAV, there is space to the rear thanks to a rubber stopper which lets you open the boot fully. There is space between the stoppers and the machine which, while not allowing enough room for a wheelchair to turn, gives you enough room to connect your own charging cable. Wider chairs may have difficulty however The charging ports can be found on either side of the terminal. The card reader is reachable from a seated position.

Located on the grounds of Pease Bay Caravan Park, the charging site has two 22 kW Type 2 chargers serving four bays. Each bay is the width of a single parking space, which isn't very helpful for disabled drivers.

Accessible Toilets
There is an accessible toilet nearby at the Smugglers bar and restaurant, though to say it's accessible is a bit of a stretch as it's very compact and has a heavy door.
