Overall Rating
Good
Afternoon visit to Cirencester's Corinium Museum. Lots of interesting artefacts, including large Roman mosaics found in and around Cirencester. The museum takes you through the history of Cirencester from pre-Roman up to the present day. The facilities are all wheelchair accessible with plenty of room to manoeuvre. There is a lift between the two floors and a spacious accessible toilet.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
The museum is on a level access from Park Street through an automatic door. The routes around the museum worth easily navigated in my wheelchair. There were a number of touch-screens to provide extra details of different exhibits. These were fine if you were standing up and looking down directly above. However, though I could position my wheelchair next to the screens unfortunately the angle of the screens meant the images were not viewable.
Accessible facilities: Lift to all areas, Step-free entrance
