This is a lovely wee Community Cinema located in the beautiful village of Cromarty., overlooking the brooding Black Isle landscape. We arrived there by car; we didn't have any problems with parking although this may be different at a busier time as there are limited spaces available but for a small venue like this, I think that it's not too bad. I should also mention that we visited on a Friday night so it should be reasonably OK. We were met by a member of staff who was very helpful and friendly, saying that if we needed anything just to let them know. Then we were taken over the smooth surface towards the accessible entrance which is accessible via a ramp. Afterwards, we found our seats at the wheelchair area in which there are two disabled spaces and we had no trouble getting settled in, however, it might be that there was a bit of a design flaw in that the accessible way in and out is also the fire door, meaning that disabled people will have to disturb the rest of the cinema goers if they need to leave at any point. I have unpredictable medical needs and luckily, I managed ok without having to leave on this occasion. Normally, I have to leave at least once and other disabled people may need to visit the disabled toilets etc. Similarly, again due to the design, the wheelchair spaces are down at the front and although I can tip back in my chair to see, I can only do that for so long and some disabled people can't do that at all so I feel that this really should be addressed. Having said that, I had a good view of the film and we all had a great time watching the amazing Amadeus. We also had a lovely chat with the staff after the film and they were brilliant craic and very welcoming. I would say that for the limited resources available, they were doing a great job of trying to make things accessible. I would love to return here but I’m reluctant to disturb other cinema-goers re. the fire-door; if you don’t need to leave during the film, I would really recommend the venue to all film lovers.

I would have given more if not for the issues mentioned above for me; they might not be issues for other disabled cinema-goers and I felt really welcome. The entrance ramp/fire door itself is easy to access.

We arrived there by car; we didn't have any problems with parking although this may be different at a busier time as there are limited spaces available but for a small venue like this, I think that it's not too bad. There is also on-street parking in Cromarty itself. There are no trains here and you would have to come by bus; I'm not sure if all the buses are accessible so I've had to give an average rating.

The staff keep a key for the disabled toilet. The disabled toilet was clean, spacious, how grab rails and a red cord.

Lovely, welcoming staff; they really made the experience special and went out of their way to accomodate me as best they could. If it wasn't for the design fault, I'd definitely be back. Thanks for a lovely night.
