This is where I came to collect my BATEC Air when I first got it and I had to return due to an issue with the tyre. The team here are really wonderful, they were quick to get me booked in and have always been really lovely, friendly and helpful when I’ve visited. They have parking directly outside, including an accessible parking space, and a disabled toilet inside. They were also very happy for me to bring my dog with me which was great.

The main entrance has an automatic door which can be opened with buttons. Inside, there is a large reception area which has some seating and also lots of wheelchairs, power attachments and other cool equipment on display. The team’s office and their workshop are located off of the reception area and the team will conduct any meetings and demonstrations in the reception area itself. They regularly check in if you are waiting on something that is in the workshop and offer tea and coffee etc.

I travelled to this place by personal vehicle

There are some parking spaces directly outside the main entrance, including one accessible parking space. They also have space outside their delivery entrance to park if the accessible space is already taken and you either need more space on one side or at the rear for a ramp.

    Accessible facilities: Dedicated on-site parking

    Accessible Toilets

They have one toilet which is a fairly large accessible toilet. The toilet has grab rails around it, including one that can be raised and lowered. There was space for a left-side transfer next to the toilet. The flush was a standard lever flush and it was mounted on the cistern. It was placed on the same side as the transfer area so you did not have to reach across the toilet to use it. There were two sinks, at slightly different heights and they both had a single handle that twisted to control both the temperature and the flow of water. A red emergency cord hung freely to the floor in between the toilet and the sink.
