Overview
What a wonderful visit. The museum was very interesting, and the gardens were beautiful, if hard work to push through. I loved it!
Transport & Parking
Many car parks, lots of disabled bays and two extra right up by the house if you struggle with distances.
Access
The house was brilliant. A lovely bright lift was an unexpected bonus that allowed me to see upstairs. Getting around the gardens was tricky because the surface was dirt and lose stones. I needed my dad to push me quite a lot. It would have been easier with my freewheel.
Toilets
brilliant accessible toilet. Large, clean, plenty of room for a carer.
Staff
The staff were wonderful. They really wanted to make the experience good for me. They pointed out the closer disabled parking as we arrived, helped me navigate the accessible routes to see everything and were very happy to chat and explain things. The staff made the visit!
