    Overall Rating

    Good

An accessible gym, swim and fitness centre with an accessible cafe.

    Disabled Access In and Around

    Good

The centre has level access throughout, which made the visit very easy for me. Wide automatic doorways on entry were great. There were some manual double doors which were a little tricky at times. I was impressed by the wheelchair accessible lockers in the swim changing area.

    Parking & Transport

    Excellent

Lots of accessible bays immediately in front of the centre. Around 6 in total, with some additional parent and child spaces.

    Accessible Toilets

    Good

The accessible changing/toilet in the dry area was fantastic, with a ceiling hoist etc. The l Changing area in the swim area had everything I would need, but didn’t have a hoist and was smaller than the dry side changing space.

    Staff

    Rating Emoji

    Excellent

The reception staff member was very welcoming and made us feel valued on arrival. The staff throughout the centre were very pleasant and knowledgable.

    Additional Information

The centre staff were very accommodating and offered to tailor some activities to my needs if required. They have a swim session specifically for disabled visitors on a Wednesday, which might interest some people.
