Following a major illness I was left with paralysis in my right leg. This meant I could no longer drive a manual car. I have got a Motability car. Originally I had a car adapted with a left foot accelerator. For me a big mistake. (I have since learned that if you have driven before a left foot accelerator is very difficult to use as the brain us so conditioned to the right.) Now I gave hand controls. Having not driven for a year and unfamiliar with hand controls I looked for a specialist driving instructor. The nearest one to my home was Neil from Eazidrive. I had 4 one hour lessons (including going on the motorwsy and some time in my own car.) Neil has his own car with disabled adaptations. By the end I had got my confidence back and learned to use the hand controls safely. Excellent teacher.

Neil was friendly and helpful. He fully understands the needs of disabled drivers. A terrific teacher.
Additional Information
Compared to ordinary driving lessons these aren't cheap £300 for 4 hours. But this included Neil's travelling time to and from me.
