Being up high is not my favourite but I just had to visit the Eiffel Tower. There is airport like security to get in and this was a little tight in my powerchair but I managed! What I would say is avoid buying from the vendors outside of the tower as this can lead to pickpocketing.” There are gift shops in the tower or throughout Paris for tower related souvenirs. Back to the tower, it is incredibly good value. With my Access Card, it only cost €11 for my wife and I. I don’t know what I expected but a diagonal lift was not it! It is a big lift and they let wheelchairs on first so you are first out. A smooth experience. Wheelchair users can go as high as the second level, not all the way to the top but that was high enough for me! It is a large space ti roam around and the views are great. There is space to sit underneath with a few foot vendors including the best crepe my wife has ever had!
