Overall Rating
Bad
Have you ever encountered an EV charger that made you wonder who signed this off, if they even considered accessibility, and question your faith in humanity? Yeah, this is one of those.
Disabled Access In and Around
Poor
Here are my issues. The bay is side-on, which makes it difficult to retrieve a mobility aid from the boot of your car. There also isn't enough room for a WAV to drop a ramp at the rear. The charging unit is at the foot of the bay, located on its own island and mounted on a plinth, with bollards on either side to protect the machine, and inconvenience people - I assume. This makes the charging cables impossible to use when using a mobility device. The card reader is actually on a different side of the machine and can only be reached from the pavement. There is a lowered kerb at the give way on the junction, but if you go along the kerb, you'll soon notice there is a gap between the pavement and the island on which the machine is located. This means you run a real risk of falling into the gap when trying to reach the card reader. If you don't require assistance or have someone to help, you'll be fine, but if not, I'd keep driving if you have the option. There is a choice of 50 kW CHAdeMO, 50 kW CCS and 43 kW Type 2 charging.
Parking & Transport
Poor
I travelled to this place by walk or wheel
I've rated this poor rather than bad, as it may still work for some and the bay is a little longer than a standar parking space.
