Overview

Visited the Falkirk wheel for the first time in a couple of years. I generally go places myself but luckily there was someone with me today as there are automatic ticket barriers at the top of the hill entering the area. I'm not able to reach and get the ticket, so my friend had to jump out and get the ticket, then when exiting the carpark he had to jump out again to scan the the ticket to leave. Also there is a £3.50 charge now for parking. Apart from this, you can access all areas on a scooter the area is flat, though there are a couple of areas that can be accessed by stairs or gradients. The toilet was a bit cramped with the scooter in. Also when you open the door it opens directly on to the gents toilet door!
