Small but accessible reserve

Overview
Fuly accessible central hide and two viewing screens (designed for wheelchair users) to the far left and right of the accessible paths give a good close up view of the lakes. However, this is a very small reserve mostly frequented by locals for that reason. If you are visiting the town, especially in the autumn migration months, it is worth a look. Better by far (Feb-Oct) is Bempton Cliffs RSPB just 10 miles south of Filey. Accessible platforms, toilet, cafe, shop and one of England's best seabird colonies.
Transport & Parking
Filey Dams is a bit tucked away at the back of the Wharfedale bungalow estate but has a small car park leading to the accessible paths.
Access
Toilets
There are no toilets, accessible or otherwise. This is a small, unmanned reserve, maintained by volunteers.
