Overall Rating
Good
If you're looking for something a little more deluxe than McDonald's, Five Guys might just hit the spot - and your wallet. It's not a place I visit often, but every once in a while, we stop in. Usually, when staff notice my wheelchair, they offer to bring my food to me.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
Located on the lower floor of the centre and level throughout, Five Guys offers a reasonably accessible experience. The order terminals feature an accessibility mode, which is always appreciated. There are plenty of places to sit, as well as room to manoeuvre most mobility aids. There are no alternative formats in use.
Accessible facilities: Step-free entrance
Parking & Transport
The shopping centre has multiple car parks, including a multi-storey. EV chargers are available, but they are far from accessible. Braehead bus station is just outside and offers handy links to and from the city.
Accessible Toilets
There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet with baby changing facilities in the upper foyer of the shopping centre. And one on the lower floor in the corridor near Five Guys. There is also a Changing Places toilet in Braehead Shopping Centre, on the upper level within the baby changing area. You will need to use the phone beside the door to contact the team, who will arrange for it to be opened.
