Overview

An accessible trail through woods and beside river with good cafe to finish. Some inclines and gravel paths make trail best suited to power chairs or scooter but shorter more level routes around cafe and river.

Plenty of disabled parking spaces close to cafe.

Access

Easy access trail approx 1k, most suited to powered chairs/scooter due to inclines and pressed gravel service. Zig-zag paved path from car park to visitor centre. Paved level access around centre/cafe/toilets.

Toilets

Largest disabled loo ever encountered! Changing places toilet with large changing table and accessible baby change table. Ceiling hoist over table and toilet. Adjustable height sink. Toilet with integrated washing and drying.

Staff

Cafe staff friendly and helpful. Didn't meet any other site staff.

Lovely trail through woods and alongside river. Also on site - Children's adventure playground, Children's off-road bike course, lots of opportunities for longer walks in woods and around lakes for more able. Very dog friendly. Outdoor seating available at cafe. Sculpture trail. Site obviously doing their best to make site as accessible as possible. About 25 mins from Cardiff off the A470.
