My favourite route to cross the river!

An accessible bridge over the River Thames right in the heart of London. It links the Southbank to Charing Cross station. There are decent lifts at each end of the bridge - as well as steps - and the surface of the bridge is flat and well maintained. There are great views from this bridge. It can be quite busy with both commuters and tourists enjoying the view.

A hidden bridge with a view

The Golden Jubilee Bridges are pedestrian bridges attached to the Hungerford Railway Bridge. They are accessible by wheelchair from Charing Cross Station and by lift from the South Bank; handy for waterloo Station and County Hall.
