The centre is completely inclusive, purpose built for all abilities and used to facilitate international, national, regional and local sporting events and training. Transport & Parking

Small car park with accessible spaces adjacent to auto doors. Spaces for mobility minibuses. Event buses/coaches can park in Sefton Park 100 yards away or on street outside centre. There is a bigger college car park in the next building which is used for overflow at weekends/evenings. Boxing events are always busy. There is extensive on street and in park space. Bus stops are in the same road as centre, Greenbank Lane, from city direction facing the entrance and 50 yards away in the other direction.

Access

High level. This building is fully accessible all one level. Sliding double door entry. Hoists in separate wetroom. Separate changing room. Communal accessible shower rooms adjacent to sports hall(s). Hall is double size and can be segmented to house separate events with raised seating and wheel/powerchair spaces on floor level. All toilet/wash facilities accessible. Cafe wide space, tables wheelchair accessible for daily use or bigger events. Wide unrestricted reception/hall entrance area. Assistance always available.

Toilets

Two separate public washrooms, with 2 fully accessible+low sink toilet cubicles with separate sinks. Two gender separate main shared accessibe shower rooms. Two separate toilet blocks all accessible. Fully accessible building.

Staff

Excellent. This is an academy for activity . It caters for all levels of ability.

Level of expertise is professional. This centre is all about abilty and empowerment and staff are always available to help people achieve their goals whether it's in sport or development or just finding your way around. Very welcoming.
