Prebooked sessions for disabled people providing more time for instruction and reassurance. Staff who were both disabled aware, friendly and competent. Fantastic to be able to join in a family experience at a once in a lifetime event.

Transport & Parking

Access

While it was step free access the use of small gravel may cause manual wheelchair users to sweat a little.

Toilets

As a wheelchair user able to weight bear I used an urinal. My advice is to visit the Eden Project disabled toilets and Changing Places toilet before entering the Hangloose venue. The disabled parking in Apple 1 is very close to both the Eden Project toilets outside reception and Hangloose.

Staff

A very welcoming manager greeted us and accompanied us throughout our visit. He supervised and advised his staff throughout our activity sessions with all staff being friendly and humorous. Despite my working life managing an outdoor activity centre I could not criticise the staff at all.
