A little up the street from Gro, one of my favourite brunch spots, you’ll find these two EV charging bays that are easy to spot but not so easy to use.

The charging spaces are clearly signposted and although the paint is worn, the bright green bays are hard to miss. Cables are provided but their placement may make them awkward to reach and manipulate for some. Sadly this is another location where access is challenging with no real thought given to how someone using a mobility device might interact with charging unit..

I travelled to this place by personal vehicle
There are two EV bays at this location with options for CCS 50 kW, CHAdeMO 50 kW and 43 kW Type 2 charging. Both bays are the width of a standard parking space, with the left bay bordered on one side by a kerb and the right bay neighbouring a standard parking space. There is a section with hatched marking between the two spaces but it is not particularly wide. To add a little more challenge, the bays are on descending a slope, causing water pools to pool in front of the charger when it rains. The charging unit is inside a small shelter covered on three sides, but it is up on a kerb and set back with bollards on each side, which makes getting close to it difficult for those using mobility devices. The CCS and CHAdeMO connectors are on the front of the unit, while the Type 2 is mounted on the right side and is harder to reach. The card reader is also set quite high. As a wheelchair user, I am not sure how I would manage to access the cables and card reader comfortably, especially if someone was already parked in the second bay.
