Overview
Warners holidays take care of you, and we had a really nice accessible room for our short visit to this lovely hotel situated near the parish of Enstone, in the Cotswolds. ( read our review of Enstone ) on Euans guide See ( Heythrop Park ) that has already been Reviewed for you on Euans guide ( PHOTO 1 ). Arriving at Heythrop park, enjoy the mile and a half driveway, stopping off at the reception wooden hut along the drive, where you will be met by a staff member to book you into your room, or advice you where to park if on a day visit. ( PHOTO 2 ). Immediately TURN RIGHT just a few feet beyond the reception hut. ( PHOTO 3 ). At the car park area, drive along to the third parking area on your left, as the few disabled bays are here, at the far end of the row. Ahead of you, just before you walk right, to reach the main entrance for the hotel, you will find a good dozen or so electric charging points. ( PHOTOS 4, 5 and 6 ) Unfortunately, it’s quite a walk to the right of parking bays to reach the main entry for the hotel. ( PHOTO 7 ). The main door is on the Level, with automatic door, and easy to enter ( PHOTO 8 ). Reception desk is now on your right and you will be warmly greeted by what we found to be, really nice, friendly staff, who in our case, who went beyond helping us, treating all guests with kindness and understanding. ( PHOTOS 9, 10 and 11 ). They will point you ahead to the lifts, and you will quickly then arrive at you floor level. Beautifully decorated in pleasing colours, and our accessible room, 108, was not to far from the lift area, but you may need someone with you to open the door from lift into the corridor. The accessible door is nice and wide, so easy for you to be pushed into your room. ( PHOTO 12 ). There is enough space at the front door to allow you to place your chair, and still have room to enter the shower room, so ideal to help you relax in your room. ( PHOTO 13 ). Large and very comfortable King size bed, soft lining, and easy mattress, With fluffy cushions, so all in all a very comfortable nights sleep. ( PHOTOS 14, 15 and 16 ). Facilities include a modern flat screen TV with usual stations, Tea and coffee making with kettle and needs, and a decent but smallish wardrobe. ( PHOTOS 17, 18 and 19 ). Wide level doorway into the modern and pleasantly furnished bathroom. A very good sized bathroom with walk in shower, and sink high enough to get your chair under it, the room spotlesssly clean and well maintained, good sized washbasin, with modern plug, which you simple touch the edge of plug to allow water to drain out. ( PHOTO 20 ). Two comfortable side chairs allow comfort for sitting to watch TV, or gaze out across the landscaped gardens. All the rooms here are very pleasant, a few maybe a little smallish, but comfortable, and nicely decorated. Which ever room you choose you won’t be disappointed with.
Transport & Parking
The car parks are to far away from the hotels entrance, and although the South Wing car park being on the level, it is a long push for your carer, and you will all get soaked if it’s raining. There are not that many disabled bays to find, and they are always full of cars before you get to them, so the disabled will have to be prepared to walk miles to get to the hotel entrance. Disappointing, and marks have been taken off the hotel for this lack of support for the cripples or disabled who cannot walk, and need the hotels support.
Access
both the South wing, and the North wing car parking for disabled is to far from the hotels entrance, the paths are level enough, and easy to push along, if you have a carer, or you are strong in the arms. Ramps are there, and it’s easy enough to get around the interior areas once inside hotel. Most rooms are to far from the main attractions, that’s dinning, bars, entertainment ect, but this is nit picking really, because it is a very nice and pleasantly furnished hotel, which if you can cope, will give you a very good break. The accessible room 108 was ideal, large enough to take almost all chairs. ( see our photos below for room 108 )

Staff
We found all the staff very helpful and willing. We want to mention the reception team, as all the staff here were so kind and supported us so well.
