This is a pet shop we have started to use in addition to our regular one which is further away. This independent pet shop knows their market and who they provide for and keep things simple. They are located on the northbound side of Barclay / Bruntsfield Terrace over looking Links. There is ample parking an a plentiful choice of bus services, In either direction the bus stops are no more than 40m from the shop, the 11,15,16,23,36 and 45 services all stop here.there are buses every 5 to 6 minutes. Both brothers the owners, are very knowledgeable about small animals, birds, cats and dogs and have a wealth of networking experience. The shop is small, busy and congested but not cluttered, it would be very tight for a wheelchair, there is a wandering cat in the shop and they also deliver. They have a tidy, little web site and they take delivery orders by phone or mail.

Congested with limited floor space.
Parking & Transport
Good
There is ample parking though this is a major route in and out of the City to the CityBypass, there are disabled parking spaces, pay bays and opportunities for blue badge holders. As said previously excellent bus service.

Both brothers are very friendly, welcoming and are as chirpy as the budgies, what is noticeable the birds and small animals are not there for long which shows a well informed and trusted business that finds homes for their stock.
Additional Information
Despite the access issue, it is difficult to find an independent pet shop that is not part of a chain, hence Hill Lord often carry stock unavailable elsewhere and will source if needed. I would highly recommend them for the small personal touches their advice, knowledge and welcoming demeanour.
