    Good

This Tesla Supercharger station is located in a hotel and restaurant car park along the A-23 highway. While it is not well overlooked by anything other than the main hotel and restaurant building, the environment feels fine. We intended to charge at a TotalEnergies station by La Fonda de la Estación because our initial research on the ABRP app said it was operational; however, we arrived to find it completely fenced off for building works with a small digger parked in the bays. Luckily, this Tesla station saved the day and offered a scenic view, though it was quite chilly during our visit.

    Disabled Access In and Around

The charging spaces are not designated or marked as accessible bays for disabled drivers, and none of them comply with PAS 1899 standards. There are no signs directing you to the stations from the main road, but they are completely obvious once you drive onto the property. There are 2 standard disabled bays located elsewhere in the car park. A small kerb is built around the base of the charger itself, but it does not get in the way of accessing the space. The station components are less than 220 mm away, and the handle connector bottom sits at an accessible level between 800 mm and 950 mm from the ground.

    Parking & Transport

I travelled to this place by personal vehicle

There are 11 Tesla bays in total at this location, and 2 were occupied by other vehicles when we arrived. Just as we were pulling in, another driver kindly let us know that one of the chargers was out of order. Our battery was at 51% when we arrived and reached 100% over 25 minutes, costing a total of £22.12. The payment type used was app, as the station accepts app payment options exclusively. The chargers deliver up to 250 kW charging speeds. There is no integrated display screen or payment interface terminal on the hardware itself. Everything is managed and viewed entirely through the smartphone app. The charger has its own attached cable and connector, which is relatively short, meaning parking the vehicle to the side works best.

    Accessible facilities: Electric Vehicle Charging

    Accessible Toilets

There are no public facilities at the chargers, but toilets are available less than 50 metres away inside the hotel and restaurant complex.

    Additional Information

There is no help point or assistance option available at the chargers. We used this charger during the day, but overhead lights are present across the area for night-time use. No shelter is provided over the charging bays. Interestingly, when checking the ABRP app after our trip, the broken TotalEnergies station we initially tried to visit has been completely removed from the map platform.
