Overall Rating
Excellent
We enjoyed a day at the races in Hospitality box 11. Stunning view, even when seated low in a chair and a fine meal.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
Entry doors were not automatic so carer had to stand and hold open but corridors were wide and lift accessible. The dining table was a trestle style so had to be careful to position the chair where there was space for knees bt other guests were helpful.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
Flat parking adjacent to main entry point, some of the parking staff were unclear about how to direct us to it, but we found it.
Accessible Toilets
Good
Ample disabled loos around the site but the one adjacent to hospitality box 11 had the emergency cord tied up with sticky tape so would not be available to someone who fell to the floor!
Staff
Good
Inevitably many of the staff at such an event were agency staff hired by the day were not as quick witted or helpful as would be ideal.
Additional Information
We have visited a number of race courses and most are well adapted, with raised areas for wheelchairs to view proceedings and good flat pathways around the site.
