Overview

This really is a must do if in Cornwall. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and well laid out overlooking the bay. The staff are most helpful and the food is gorgeous. Access is via a long set of steps. You are loaded in your wheelchair onto what looks like a lift with a tank base on it. This 'walks' down the stairs keeping you tipped slightly backwards. It looks a bit scary but operates very smoothly and the staff member has done it many times and makes sure it is comfortable for you. It is well worth it. There is a good disabled toilet which gives a commentary on entering of where everything is found.

There is a car park just above the restaurant with plenty of space

There was a flight of steps but these were accessed via a 'lift'. This was essentially a lift on the tracks of a tank!
