I caught the Metro from Monument to Jesmond, and like most Metro stops I have used, it was reasonably accessible. I did not need to arrange any assistance and getting on and off the Metro was pretty straightforward.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
There are accessible ticket gates in the foyer, with lifts down to both platforms. The lift buttons have Braille panels, while the buttons inside also have Braille. The lifts are spacious enough for most mobility devices and have handrails and mirrors for reversing. There are also stairs and escalators to the platforms. The stairs have yellow markings on the edges, handrails on either side and several landings. The platforms have emergency help points, as well as metal seats that fold down from the wall. Train information is shown on overhead dot matrix displays. There are yellow lines along the platform edge with tactile studs before them. The accessible carriage is towards the front of the train and is marked with a wheelchair symbol. The Metro trains have sliding steps to reduce the gap between the train and platform. I was able to pop a wheelie and get on, although this may not work for everyone.

Average
There are parking spaces just outside the station on Eslington Road, but I didn't spot any accessible parking spaces. Several of the spaces were for Car Club vehicles only. There are also EV charging facilities on the street. There is a bus stop 150 metres away on Osbourne Street
