    Date of visit: May 2018

I have experience of challenges around: moving around

    Overall Rating

    Rating Emoji

    Good

Excellent place to spend an afternoon in the open air wandering through woodland enjoying modern sculptures. Park is evenly split between wooded and open areas. Pretty much all the paths are suitable for wheelchair (ours is manual) May be one or two slightly problematic areas depending on individual circumstances. Disabled parking but path to cafe, shop and entrance is partly cobbled. Only issue experienced was with toilet. Doubles as baby change facility and we found it very tight for space due to waste bins. If these were moved it could be ok

    Disabled Access In and Around

    Rating Emoji

    Good

Cobbled access to shop, cafe and entrance to footpaths. Limited seating around walk which could last up to two hours, but probably possible to shorten whole route. Paths hard packed earth and gravel.

    Parking & Transport

    Excellent

Don't know about accessibility by public transport Easily accessible from A71. Reasonable amount of disabled parking close to central facilities.

    Accessible Toilets

Easy to find but limited in space for manoeuvering and might be difficult to accommodate carer.

    Additional Information

Would recommend in spite of issues described and will certainly return. It is well worth considering a visit particularly as entrance is free for Blue Badge holders and their carers!
