Overview
A very modern and motivated hotel that strives to be accessible in an otherwise inaccessible and wheelchair unfriendly country.
Transport & Parking
The hotel has parking spaces right outside the hotel and taxis are available on request. The hotel is built on a hill and realistically, anyone coming to the hotel would need a car of sorts to access the hotel.
Access
There are two lifts that reach every floor in the hotel. Rooms and toilets are spacious for wheelchair users. The hotel is quite small and therefore there are not a lot of long distances to travel. There are no steps or problems with uneven ground within the hotel. The ramp outside that leads up to the hotel door is rather steep and wheelchair users may need assistance to tackle this.
Toilets
On the bottom floor a wheelchair accessible toilet features handrails, a mirror that tilts downwards and a low sink. Toilets are large enough for any wheelchair user and the bathrooms in rooms are fitted with shower room areas and therefore no baths or shower cubicles. Wheelchair accessible rooms are available on request (One on Floor 1 and Floor 2)
Staff
Staff were very helpful and willing to help where necessary.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I recommend this hotel for people going on family holidays or perhaps with people who can offer assistance whenever an issue may arise when getting from and to the hotel or travelling outside it.
