Venue Description

Lagavulin Distillery Brand Home is the home of the iconic Lagavulin whisky. We are located on the south side of Islay, approximately 3 miles from the village of Port Ellen. We are open throughout the year offering distillery tours and tasting experiences. We have our Malt Mill Bar offering a range of drams, cocktails and more.

Accessibility

We have accessible access to the shop with a ramp at the main entrance. We don’t have any dedicated accessible parking spaces however we do have two cars parks in close proximity to the main entrance. There is an accessible toilet in the shop. Our Malt Mill Bar has a small set of steps to the entrance and does not have a ramp for wheelchair users. The toilet in the Malt Mill Bar is down a flight of stairs. The main production building has several steep and narrow stairs with no ramp access. Due to this the Classic Tour is not suitable for those with restricted mobility. All our tasting experiences and our Warehouse Experiences can be adapted for those with restricted mobility, please get it touch with the distillery when booking so we can prepare for your visit.

Assistance dog exercise facilities

We are unable to allow assistance dogs in the distillery and warehouse due to it being a production facility. We can allow assistance dogs in all our areas such as shop, the Malt Mill Bar and tasting rooms.
