Whilst this is an old building I found it very accessible. I rang beforehand (we planned on going for afternoon tea) to check and the lady I spoke to was very helpful. She said afternoon tea is served in their first floor drawing room and if necessary there is a service lift I could use), On arrival my husband was able to drop me off at the doorway. There is level access to reception and the toilets are on the ground floor. The stairs to the drawing room have handrails on both sides (important to me as I've had a stroke so need one on the right for going up and on the right coming down i.e, both sides). They'd very kindly reserved us a table in the window seat, just as you go into the drawing room. Afternoon tea was absolutely beautiful; especially so as it was our wedding anniversary!
