Overall Rating
Average
The port office is currently undergoing refurbishment, which means the experience is a little different at the moment. However, it still remains a reasonably accessible port for the ten minute crossing to the Isle of Cumbrae.
Disabled Access In and Around
Average
The port has level access throughout, which is great, but the ticket office is currently closed. The temporary office is further down the pier in a portable cubicle. It does not have an accessible toilet and is rather compact. There is a short ramp with no handrail that leads up to an outward-opening door, which might make it difficult for wheelchair users to access and is potentially dangerous.
Accessible facilities: Single-level venue, Step-free entrance
Parking & Transport

I travelled to this place by personal vehicle
The port does not have its own car park. It backs on to a small car park but this is solely for residents of the nearby flats. Paid parking is available at the Seafront Car Park where there are five accessible parking spaces. The street outside the Seafront Car Park has some accessible parking spaces and parking is free with a Blue Badge. Although, it's important to highlight that you can take your car on to the ferry if you have an appropriate ticket. Largs train station is 320 metres from the port.
Accessible facilities: Drop-off or pick up point, Public or on street parking
Accessible Toilets
There are no toilets available at this time due to the refurbishment. There is a Changing Places toilet and an accessible toilet at the Seafront Car Park. I have not used either but there is a review of the Changing Places toilet on Euan's Guide.
