Overview

Opening the heavy front doors can be difficult for an unaccompanied wheelchair user or someone with limited strength. There are always staff around but they aren't always aware of people needing assistance to get into the building. Once in the access is pretty good.

Transport & Parking

There is no parking, other than on street, associated with this building. But there are good bus services to the library and a bus stop fairly nearby.

Access

The heavy door at the front of this building presents issues for some users. Also, the shelves containing books can be a little too high up/low down in places. The doorways are wide enough to permit access with a moderate sized power chair.

Toilets

As far as I can see there are no toilets in this building.

Staff

The staff are usually friendly and helpful - but only on request. They will quite often just stand and watch someone struggle with the doors.
