Overview

Lime Tree is much underused so offers plenty of space to wheelchairs and delightful views. The café is part of the County Cricket Ground, available only to spectators on match days but open to all (7 days per week) on non match days. Because it is not in the city centre it does not attract much passing trade but that makes it all the more pleasant, never a problem with getting a table, always space for children and wheelchairs. It looks straight onto the playing area of the ground and so has large panoramic windows and is bright and sunny even in Winter!

Transport & Parking

Lime Tree is adjacent to the Sainsbury's Local which has 2 designated disabled parking spaces.

Access

Lovely wide gentle ramp from parking to the entrance of café. The first door is automatic and very wide, the inner door is not but offers no real problem. Once inside the whole property id level, counter is low and service very pleasant. Once items are ordered they are automatically brought to the table, not just for disabled but for all customers!

Toilets

Disabled toilet is accessed via two doors from café, but doors are tight and not quite as easy as they might be.

Staff

Always friendly and delighted to see new and regular customers.
