I usually use a mobility walker but there is a lot of walking at Longleat. I hired one of their mobility scooters at a cost of £20 and was able to access everything outdoors (we didn't go in the house). It was quite a long walk from the disabled parking to collect the scooter. I could have ridden it onto the jungle cruise boat but chose to leave it and walk on. Similarly, I got on the train without it but there is a wheelchair carriage with a ramp. The Animal Adventure, the Maze,the shops, the cafes and the grounds were all accessible with the scooter and there were plenty of disabled toilets.

I totally agree, I use a power chair and was very pleased with how accessible everything was outdoors.
