Overview

Unfortunately Norwich City Council has seen fit to remove all city centre disabled parking spaces for this event. If there were nearby alternatives they were certainly not advertised. Given public transport is not an option for many, this clearly is an issue!

Transport & Parking

Usual car parks available, and although there are disabled spaces in these, all city centre parking was closed despite not being near the procession route.

Access

There is a disabled viewing platform which there needs to be some credit for, howeverduring an event like this wheelchair access is always difficult with so many crowds.

Toilets

I don’t know whether or not there was an accessible toilet.

Unfortunately with the latest changes to pedestrianise the city centre, and disabled parking spaces being moved out of the centre and up a hill, Norwich is not helping disabled visitors enjoy this fine city!!!
