Overall Rating
Good
I love a bit of Lush, particularly their CBD products, which I find help relieve my muscle aches. However, this store is pretty neat, making it challenging to move around with a mobility aid, particularly when it's busy.
Disabled Access In and Around
Average
As the shop is small and the doors are pinned open, it's easy to enter and find your way around. However, the first of the two long tables in the centre of the room is angled, creating a bit of a bottleneck as you enter. This gets worse during busy shopping days when there are more people in the store. The counter is not lowered but is low enough to engage with staff easily. Many of the products are stacked high, but staff will retrieve anything you're unable to reach. There are no alternative formats in use.
Accessible facilities: Step-free entrance
Parking & Transport
I travelled to this place by walk or wheel
The shopping centre has multiple car parks, including a multi-storey. EV chargers are available, but they are far from accessible. Braehead bus station is just outside and offers handy links to and from the city.
Accessible Toilets
There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet with baby changing facilities in the upper foyer of the shopping centre. And one on the lower floor in the corridor near Five Guys. There is also a Changing Places toilet in Braehead Shopping Centre, on the upper level within the baby changing area. You will need to use the phone beside the door to contact the team, who will arrange for it to be opened.
Staff
Excellent
Always polite and happy to help!
