Overview

Finally, a holiday cottage that is as accessible as it claims! There is level access throughout, with wide doorways. There is plenty of space to move around in all rooms. A helpful extra is the alarm system with red cords in the ensuite bathroom and main bedroom. The ensuite bathroom has rails, a wheelchair height sink, a raised height toilet and level access to the shower. The only other thing that would help in the shower is a stool, but there's no promise of one, so that's picky. Outside is also level with mainly tarmac. The car can be stopped right by the door if needed. The sofa is quite low, but there are other seats. The oven is low level if that matters to you - fortunately I had someone with me to get food in and out. All in all very comfortable and accessible taking the stress out of properties where things are not quite as you need them. The owners couldn't do enough to help and were very understanding of my needs
