The tram stop is on a busy street in a mainly residential area, with rows of flats and tenements along the road. Even so, there are plenty of small businesses nearby, including a coffee shop, a few restaurants and a local supermarket, so it feels handy whether you’re just passing through or live local.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
The tram stop has traffic lights on either side, making it easy to get across to the platform. A ramp leads straight up to the platform on either side, and boarding the tram is completely level. Like other stops around the city, there are seats under the rain shelters for anyone who needs a rest while waiting. Tickets can be bought at the machines or using the smart card terminals, and the ET app is another handy option. The edges of the platform have tactile markings, and there is a help point with braille for anyone needing information or wanting to call for assistance in an emergency. A hearing loop is also provided. Signage is simple but does the job.

Located on a popular bus route, there are easy links to the tram stop. There is parking on-street, further along the road and on Brunswick Street - there's also plenty of bike lanes, which I had fun rolling through.
