Overview

Not much description required really - it's a Supermarket! Reviewing this one though, as it's one used by locals in Las Americas, and has better prices than many of the smaller shops claiming to be supermarkets, in the main tourist streets. (a useful find on my self-catering holiday!) Fairly large shop, good range of foods etc Fresh foods at bakery, fruit particularly nice.

Transport & Parking

I was staying nearby so did not require to use transport. I didn't notice a specific carpark, but it is possible to park in streets nearby. Bigger streets do have marked disabled bays. There are also lots of taxis in the area, and many bus stops. Local buses (green in colour), have disabled access, the buses themselves can lower, and the set of doors in the middle of the bus is wider which allow easier access.

Access

This is just a local supermarket, so there wasn't a lot of signs or directions to it. At the main entrance (which you enter straight from street level) there are automatic doors. There are a flight of stairs which take you down to the shop, but beside this there is a large lift. The lift is used not only by people with disabilities, but frequently needed by people with their trollies/shopping. Within the shop, it is completely level throughout, and there seemed enough space to be able to move round the aisles. They have wheeled baskets as well as trollies. I didn't notice any trollies specifically for wheelchair users, but it's possible there was.

Toilets

I'm not aware of there being any toilets

Staff

Staff were helpful, and although we had a language difference we were still able to understand each other enough.
