    Good

I mostly popped in to use the loo, but I figured I would get a wee review in while I was there. This location offers the typical Morrisons experience: a huge supermarket with spacious aisles and high shelves that prevent me from reaching the produce on the top shelf.

    Good

There are automatic doors at the entrance and automatic barriers as you enter the building. There is plenty of overhead signage to help you navigate and find just what you are looking for. The self-checkout area is spacious, though it can be awkward to access when using a wheelchair. I did not spot any hearing loop signage or any alternative formats in use. This branch has a café with plenty of tables and chairs to sit at if you need a break before or after your shop, or just a hot drink for the road (though there is a Costa across the way).

There are 23 accessible parking spaces at this location, which have hatched markings to the rear and border lines between spaces. There are no EV charging facilities. The closest bus stop is 160 metres away, near the entrance to the retail park, and Berwick-upon-Tweed railway station is a mile away.

Accessible facilities: Drop-off or pick up point, Dedicated on-site parking

    Accessible Toilets

    Good

The accessible toilet can be found by entering the building, turning right, continuing past the café and then turning right again. The door to the accessible toilet opens outwards and does not require a RADAR key. The toilet is pretty good as far as supermarket loos go. The toilet pan has contrasting rails on either side but no contrasting seat, which feels like an oversight. It does, however, have a soft backrest. The red cord hangs to the left when seated and was not tied up. Love to see it! There is a bin near the transfer space, but it is not obstructive. The sink has a small basin with a sensor tap and a single grab rail to the right.
