Overview
We have visited many times as the access is good for us, the food is good and they have a good selection of garden plants, furniture and interior homewards and gifts.
Transport & Parking
Access
Access into the building is easy and convenient with automatic doors and permanent wide ramps with railings throughout the garden centre including the cafe. There is currently a one way system in place due to the Covid restrictions which takes you to the outside area via some steps, there was a member of staff in the area who was able to redirect us through using the usual ramp, he also asked others to allow us the 2m space to get through.
Toilets
We didn’t use the toilets this time but have in the past had to try make do in the standard accessible toilet - my brother is a changing places toilet user and there isn’t one here. We have always found the accessible toilet to be clean.
Staff
Helpful and friendly
Anything else you wish to tell us?
As a shielding family now post both vaccines this was the first time we’ve eaten in anywhere since the start of the pandemic. Although not technically outside, there were tables available in the covered area of the outside part of the cafe. Every other table had a walled gazebo over it which gave us peace of mind that we were in our own little space but still with air circulating around us.
