Overall Rating
Good
A very interesting and well presented exhibition, great staff and very welcoming. Lost a couple of points simply becuase there's no close proximity parking ( not really their fault as the landscape doesn't really allow it ).
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
Access for a building of its age was very good. A gentle ramp from the street takes you to the front door. Internally the corridors and exhibition areas are spacious and level. Exhibition exhibits are reasonably viewable from wheelchair height.
Parking & Transport
Good
Being on the Mound, a busy and fairly steep hill, there's no nearby parking. You may be able to park in adjacent streets (200 m) with a Blue Badge. Buses, most are wheelchair accessible, do pass by the door and the nearest bus stops are within 100 m.
Accessible Toilets
Good
An accessible toilet is available adjacent to the standard toilets. There are two doors to pass through and staff will help with these if required. All the features are at wheelchair height, it was very clean, and wide enough to turn a powerchair.
Staff
Excellent
Staff were very friendly in both the reception and the gift shop. Advice was offered on how to get around and a map provided.
Additional Information
The friendly and helpful staff made the visit that little bit special. Loved being able to see £1,000,000 in crisp clean notes!
